HON. Eddie Kwizera Wa-Gahungu .He is the chairman of the Parliamentary Forum on Climate Change, Vice Chair of the Natural Resources Committee as well as an Executive Committee member of the Africa Parliamentary Network Against Corruption He was an MP for the same constituency during the sixth Parliament, after which he served as the Special Presidential Advisor on Great Lakes Region Matters until his return to the ninth Parliament. Hon Kwizera is a qualified Public Administrator, with a Master of Business Administration from ESAMI, a Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Management from Makerere University, Kampala Uganda as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration (Human Resources Management) from the same University. He has undertaken several short development courses, but most importantly is the Diploma in Environment and Development. Either individually or as part of teams, Hon. has conducted several research studies in the field of Natural Resources Management and Climate Change and he passionately advocates for national policy reform to address the impacts of climate change.
